Part III: Street Smart Study Strategies

In part two, I had you step out of your comfort zone to really set yourself apart from other students. It's usually during the step two process that most students quit on me. As I mentioned in the introduction, these tricks take courage. That's why Trick #1 was so important. If you don't have a strong enough "WHY," any excuse will do for not attempting these strategies.I have to admit, if I wasn't so desperate and scared of college, I wouldn'>t have been brave enough to try them myself.

However, I didn't have a choice, and neither did my family.Courage is something I cannot teach you.The good news is that the two remaining strategies do not require as much courage. However, they do require a strong dose of commitment. They are absolutely awesome, and like the others, they are pretty easy to implement.

Again, I must warn you, some students may describe these strategies as being somewhat manipulative. Now I must tell you, I have just as much integrity as anyone else, but just because I'm willing to put forth an effort that most are not, doesn't make me any less of a good citizen.Like I said before, you can modify these strategies in any way you wish (if it helps your conscience); I'm just giving them to you exactly the way that I used them.

Enough already Joe, what are they? The two remaining strategies are designed to get other students to help you get better grades in school. It's as simple as that. They're pretty straightforward; so let's begin.
