Voice Mail Change Form from UNI- Bender Hall

222-_______ New Phone Number

PROCEDURES FOR PROCESSING VOICE MAIL CHANGES (BENDER HALL)

Before you turn in your room key, please do the following:

Leave a message on your old phone voice mail like this:

I,     your name__ ,  no longer reside at this voice mail number, you can get a hold of me at my new voice mail number, which is: 222-_____

If you are moving between Monday and Friday:

1.  The Bender Hall Secretary will initiate communication to ITS.  Your old voice mail box will be deleted between 3:00 p.m. today and 8:00 a.m. tomorrow.
2.  You need to make sure you have checked your messages before that time as all messages, greetings and passwords will be deleted.
3.  When you move in to your new room you will need to make sure that your extension
has been cleared out.  This can be accomplished by going through the initial log on
procedure.  If you are able to use that procedure, everything is fine.  You will then
need to create your greeting, etc. as you have before.  If you are not able to use the
initial log on procedure (meaning that the old resident’s password is still active), you
will need to wait until voice mailboxes are cleared out.

If you are moving after noon on Friday through Sunday:

1.  The Bender Hall Secretary will initiate communication to ITS.  Your old voice mail box will be deleted between 3:00 p.m. Monday and 8:00 a.m. on Tuesday.
2.  Same as above.
3.  Same as above.
