What
we have done in the past is have a black inventors
scavenger hunt where residents would find at least 10
things that were made, developed or patented by
african-americans. Another idea is to find black
pioneers in fields and degree programs of your
residents: i.e. physics, theatre, film, teaching,
engineering, etc.
Check
out the internet for other ideas or help on these given
ideas.
