Another RA and I got together and bought strawberry daquiri mix,
strawberries, and bananas to make mocktails. Basically you just
throw them all in there. Distribute the mocktails to the
residents. A great idea is to have drinking games (legal).
We set two glasses on an endtable and had two residents get on their
knees with their hands behind their backs. They had to bend over
and pick up the glass (the cups were those small bathroom cups) with
their lips (similar to the "Blow Job" which is an alocholic
drink). Whoever could do it the fastest won. We would have
had prizes, but we have very small budget. We had a lot of fun
doing these as well as the residents. We then had an open forum
and a guest speaker talk a little about alcohol awareness.
