Note To The Actors:

You would want to have one actor designated the suicidal student, one as the former roommate and one as the concerned resident you may want to add in a current roommate even though there is no mention in the scene info. The former roommate and concerned resident may choose to meet the staff member outside to give more information.

Situation Five - Staff

You get a call from your SLC about a resident. The academic support office has started making inquiry calls about a student not attending class. You could react a number of ways to this interaction. You may want to mix up being angry and belligerent, or being sad and lonely, thinking your academically superior to FSC. Be creative and have fun!

Situation Six - Staff

You are walking your final round. By the time you get to this room it's almost 1:45 a.m. You're tired and cranky because it's been a rough duty night. You can hear an opposite gender voice clearly through the door. This room is listed in the on call book as having been warned before but not by you.

Note To The Actors:

Situation Nine - Staff

During the first couple days you immediately recognized this student as someone who might get in trouble. This student is regularly dressed provocatively and has many opposite gender guests over. At lunch today you overheard a conversation about the student that implied this student had had physical relations with the entire soccer team.

Situation Ten - Staff

You knew that the residents of this room weren't really friends but recently it seems their relationship has gotten worse. You noticed a sing on the wipe board that said "Chris - Clean up your fucking shit today! Pat" You go to the room to see if you can help and to talk to Pat about his language. When they open the door there is a line of tape down the center of the room and you can feel the tension in the room.

Note To The Actors:

You can have the actor respond in a variety of ways. Consider sad and crying, torn up pictures around the room, angry, or having another person snuggling as if she/he has moved on.

Situation Twelve - Staff

During a fire drill you key into this room to make sure it's empty. Inside you find a resident gathering a kitten. The room has other signs that the kitten has been around for awhile (food, litter box, toys, etc).

Your pager goes of at 2:00a.m. It's one of you residents who tells you there is a party going on next door to him, and he has to get some sleep because he has an early exam. You approach the room and hear girls and guys yelling "chug, chug." The music is blaring in the background.

Note To The Actors:

There are really three issues - visitation, noise, and alcohol. You can be obnoxious about either one or all.
