Time WASTERS!

Live in Quadrant II!

We will always have activities and issues in all four of Steven Covey's quadrants, but if you can focus on things in Quadrant II, you will stop living completely in Quadrant I, and will have more time and flexibility.

When you make checklists for the day, it can be useful to label them according to the four quadrants. We always need to get the Quadrant I things done, but whenever there is time, fit a Quadrant II task in, so it will never become URGENT or PRESSING!

Do something!

Worksheet activity:

Answer the Quadrant II Questions

  • Which quadrant do you live in most of the time?
  • What Quadrant II activities can you increase?
  • What Quadrant III activities can you avoid? How?
  • Which Quadrant IV things can you get rid of? (Time Wasters)
