Facilitator Instructions

Instructions: If you would like to use "It's About Time" for a staff in-service training, please follow the following instructions:

• Print out the participant worksheet (participant.pdf)

• Print the facilitator worksheet (facilitator.pdf)

• Print the certificate of completion (certificate.pdf) and make copies for your staff members.

• Make copies of the participant worksheet for each of your staff members

• Follow the instructions found on the facilitator worksheet or on the online facilitator's guide.

Time Required:

• Preparation time: Your preparation time should be minimal. While you need to be familiar with the material, and should go through the module yourself, the instructor guide will quickly prepare you to facilitate the module. (10 - 15 minutes preparation time, plus making copies)

• The initial "assignment and explanation" will take less than 5 minutes.

• Your RAs will need to set aside 20 - 30 minutes to complete the online portion. (This may also be done in small segments).

• The follow-up discussion can take 10 - 30 minutes, depending on how much you want to discuss as a group.
