S ummer P lacement E xchange

The first annual Summer Placement Exchange (SPE) will be held on June 3-6, 2001. The Department of Residential Life at South Dakota State University is sponsoring SPE to fill the need for a formal summer placement exchange.

In past years, as the school year winds down, institutions learn of new positions, or of unexpected openings and have had to scramble to find qualified candidates or face opening with vacancies. On the other hand, candidates that were unable to attend a placement exchange during the academic year or were unsuccessful in their original search have had to turn to the Internet or printed job listings.

SPE will provide a face-to-face interview setting to fill those unexpected vacancies, offer alternatives to the Web or print listings and allow institutions to find candidates for those recently approved new positions.

Please See Details Below: Listings | Fees | Registration
