Tattoo and Piercing |
I would like to submit an idea for a program that I did, and it really
got a large turnout. Seeing that piercings and tattoos are such a
huge thing in college, another RA and I decided to invite a piercer
from one of the local galleries to give a presentation about the risks
and benefits of piercings and tattoos. We advertised with pictures of
different piercings and tattoos and had titles like "Want One?" or
"Afraid To Do It?". At the program, our guest speaker discussed
choosing the proper piercing and the proper jewelry, how the process
of piercing and tattooing is done, what to look for in a shop, and the
various questions that you should ask before you take this huge step.
After his presentation, there was time for a Q&A session, and he even
gave out condoms and discount coupons to the students.
