Description:
Makeover Contest: Group divides into teams of 3 or 4
(all depends on size of original group). Each team
selects the person to be "made over". Each
team selects out of a hat a name or magazine cutout of a
famous person or character (preferrably someone with
notable & unique characteristics. i.e.Marilyn
Monroe, Dorothy from Wizard of Oz, Pippy Longstockings,
Cruella DeVille, Pamela Anderson Lee, etc) Each team
must use a set of makeup, and any other materials you
want to provide them (wigs, old clothes, old shoes,
paper/poster board, Hair products, face paints) and try
to make the person over to resemble their assigned
character. After a set amount of time, the team must
present the made over person and the person must act out
their part. The judges or non-participants can either
judge which group did the best makeover or guess who
they are supposed to be. This game gets especially funny
when the makeovers cross gender lines!!
Another version of this game can be to just have the
people made over into another look (perhaps a look that
they have never tried or is a complete opposite of how
they usually look) and to have the judges judge on the
biggest change.
