Floor Feast

Materials Needed: Everyone on the floor contributes food for one big, yummy meal that we all got to eat! A nice change from cafeteria food.

Instructions: I had 5 different categories: appetizer, main dish, side dish, dessert, and beverage (and someone added "bread"). I had these listed on a sign up sheet with spaces for 2 people to sign up below each. I put it up in the kitchen and put signs leading to it around the floor. I had everyone bring their food to a table in our lounge and the appointed time and we used paper plates and plastic utensils, for easy clean up.

Other Considerations: It really works to put it in the kitchen because then people who like to cook and spend time in the kitchen will see it. If you don't have money to get paper/plastic utensils, you could have everyone bring their own. Make sure your floor likes to cook-mine did and we had so much food!
