Advertising Tips:
  • Mediums
    • Sidewalk Chalk in front of the main door (the rain will wash it away)
    • Dry-Erase pens on all the mirrors (it wipes off with water and a rag)
    • The Internet: email lists, hall web pages, etc
  • Location, Location, Location
    • Under doors works well for getting vital information out, or getting them to sign something.
    • One Word: BATHROOM. This is the one place you know they're going to go. Hang posters on the stall doors, the bathroom door, in front of the urinals, by the mirrors, over the hand-dryer... Also, you can use dry-erase pens on the mirrors here, too!

Sign-making (clipart!)

Here are some great clipart sites:

  • Clip-Art Index -- Absolutly the best place to go. Everything is indexed and catagorized. Incredibly useful!
  • Clipart.com -- Gigantic list of other clipart places. Seems pretty useful and accurate.
  • Web Search -- You can search the whole web for a specific image from here.
  • Clipart List -- More clipart. Some are good, some are not.
  • Barry's Clipart -- Very large, but confusing to get around in.
  • Scouting Clipart -- Scouting oriented, but has lots of animals.
  • Caboodles -- You have to sort through a jumble, but there's some good stuff here.
