Cards
for Kids with Cancer |
Our building was given $75.00 dollars from our hall
council to go out
and buy paper, colored pencils, markers, glitter, crayons, and
stickers. We then made cards for children that are ill, this can
be done for cancer hospitals or children's hospitals. The cards
simply said, "Have a Good Day" or "Hope Today is
Treating You Well." (It is usually not a good thing to say
"Get Well Soon" because the children that are sick with
cancer may not get well) After we made several hundred cards we
donated the cards and the rest of the supplies to the hospital.
The children really love receiving cards and they love to make things
for other patients and family members.
